Hello Expression Engine!
Yeah, I’m impatient. I was going to wait for Expression Engine 2.0 to come out but after reading they had a lot of work left, I went ahead and moved. So far, I like. The ability to have multiple template groups and weblogs is pretty neat. With WP, I really disliked filtering out categories to constrain content. For example, if I had a media section and a written blog section - shouldn’t those two things be separate blogs with their own templates, comments, and queries? Content comes in all forms and I think it’s great that EE lets you manage it the way you want.
As for older content, hmmm - not sure if I’m putting it back. Starting anew is slightly refreshing.
