I had mental “I can’t do it” days and bad, bad weather - I just didn’t really get any further.  Last Friday, I decided to run at night - while it was amazingly cool with low humidity and it went absolutely amazing!  I found my long distance pace (10’20"-10’40"/mi), the pace that I can finally start extending my run without chickening out at the end.  Admitting it feels like I’m crawling but speed isn’t really important to me - not trying to win any races here, I’d rather get miles in. Since I apparently need a plan, my goals for the rest of August is to increase my distance 15% each week, with a recovery week thrown in.
